Printing on a cheque is not a design problem - it is a millimetre problem

Three things burn a cheque, and all of them happen before you notice: browser scaling that shifts the fields, Arabic amount-in-words that gets the dual, the gender and the Jordanian dinar's three decimal places wrong, and a paper register that cannot say who received the cheque.

Calibrate once per printer

The program prints a millimetre grid on ordinary A4. Hold it against a real cheque up to the light, enter the offset, and it is saved per printer - set once, then forgotten.

Live preview before printing

The preview shows the scanned cheque with the exact PDF that will print laid over it, and a guard refuses to draw over the magnetic ink line or the bank's header.

Printing without scaling

A PDF generated at precise millimetre coordinates, then printed silently and directly - never through the browser print engine that rescales it.

Arabic amount-in-words done correctly

Dual and feminine forms, grammatical case, and the Jordanian dinar's three decimal places - rather than libraries that assume two and phrase it wrong.
